Responsibilities
- Walk dogs of various sizes and breeds in a safe and timely manner.
- Follow all leash and safety protocols to ensure the well-being of the pets.
- Collect and dispose of waste in a responsible manner.
- Provide fresh water and food as directed by the owner.
- Monitor pets for any signs of illness or injury and report concerns immediately.
- Send photo and text updates to owners during or after walks.
- Ensure pets are returned to their homes safely and on schedule.
Qualifications
- Previous experience with dog walking or pet sitting is highly preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Physical stamina and the ability to walk 2+ miles per day.
- Strong knowledge of animal behavior and safety.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly, professional demeanor.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Must be available during various times, including evenings and weekends.
