Responsibilities
- Walk and exercise dogs of all sizes, ensuring they remain on a leash and under control at all times.
- Clean up waste immediately after each walk to maintain hygiene standards.
- Provide basic obedience commands and positive reinforcement during walks.
- Document daily activities, feeding schedules, and any behavioral notes in our mobile app.
- Ensure pets have access to fresh water and appropriate breaks during longer walks.
- Maintain a clean, professional appearance and vehicle for client interactions.
- Handle emergency situations calmly and contact the owner or emergency contact immediately if needed.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age with a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Previous experience with dog walking, pet sitting, or veterinary assistance is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of dog body language and safety protocols.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Excellent communication skills and punctuality.
- CPR and First Aid certification for pets is a plus but not required.
