Responsibilities
- Provide safe, daily walks for dogs of various breeds and sizes (up to 80lbs).
- Administer prescribed medication and supplements with care and accuracy.
- Monitor the physical and emotional well-being of each pet during visits.
- Keep accurate logs of activities and feeding schedules via our mobile app.
- Collect and dispose of waste in a timely manner to maintain hygiene standards.
- Ensure all pets are securely leashed and under supervision at all times.
- Arrive at scheduled times and communicate any delays or issues immediately.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
- Previous experience with dogs and knowledge of animal behavior is highly preferred.
- Must pass a background check and a pet temperament test.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs and handle energetic or nervous dogs.
- Must have a smartphone with internet access for app communication.
- Residing in or very close to Philadelphia, PA is required.
- CPR/First Aid certification for pets is a plus but not mandatory.
