Responsibilities
- Safely walk dogs in residential areas and designated parks
- Provide fresh water and monitor pets' health during outings
- Clean up after pets using proper waste disposal methods
- Maintain accurate walk logs and client communication
- Follow safety protocols for different dog temperaments
- Report any unusual behavior or health concerns to management
- Represent the company professionally with clients and neighbors
Qualifications
- Unwavering love for dogs and commitment to their welfare
- Reliable transportation to scheduled walks
- Ability to walk dogs up to 50 lbs (larger dogs with training)
- Strong communication skills with pet owners
- Physical stamina for outdoor activity in various weather
- Must pass background check and drug screening
- Basic smartphone proficiency for scheduling apps
- Willingness to complete paid pet first aid certification
