Responsibilities
- Safely walk and supervise dogs in designated Austin neighborhoods
- Provide fresh water and administer basic care during walks
- Monitor dog behavior and report any health concerns to management
- Maintain accurate walk logs and client communication
- Uphold strict safety protocols for all dogs and pedestrians
- Build positive relationships with clients and their pets
- Attend ongoing training sessions to enhance skills
Qualifications
- Must love dogs and demonstrate genuine affection for animals
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
- Ability to work flexible hours including early mornings and weekends
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Physical ability to handle dogs of various sizes (up to 60 lbs)
- Must pass background check and drug screening
