Responsibilities
- Provide safe and enjoyable walking experiences for dogs of various breeds and sizes
- Maintain accurate records of walks, behavior notes, and client communications
- Practice proper leash handling and basic pet first aid protocols
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and local leash laws in Anchorage
- Build positive relationships with clients through exceptional service
- Report any concerns or incidents promptly to management
- Participate in ongoing training sessions to enhance skills
Qualifications
- Must love dogs and have genuine compassion for animals
- Reliable transportation to meet clients at designated locations
- Ability to walk up to 4 dogs simultaneously with control
- Physical stamina to walk in various weather conditions (cold, snow, rain)
- Strong time management and punctuality skills
- Excellent communication abilities with pet owners
- Willingness to complete company-provided training program
- No prior experience required – training provided!
