Responsibilities
- Walk Dogs: Safely walk and exercise dogs of various sizes and breeds according to client instructions.
- Pet Care: Ensure dogs are safe, hydrated, and happy during the scheduled duration.
- Safety Monitoring: Maintain a high standard of safety during walks and interactions with other pets.
- Client Updates: Provide timely photo and text updates to pet owners regarding their dog's well-being.
- House Sitting: Occasionally assist with light pet sitting duties if requested.
- Admin Tasks: Use our mobile app to log hours, update status, and manage client requests.
Qualifications
- Experience: Prior experience walking dogs is preferred but not strictly required; a genuine love for animals is essential.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, responsible, and have a consistent schedule.
- Transportation: Must have a valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
- Communication: Excellent verbal communication skills to interact with pets and clients.
- Background Check: Must be willing to pass a background check and provide references.
- Physical Fitness: Ability to walk up to 5 miles and handle energetic dogs.
