Responsibilities
- Execute Walks: Safely walk and exercise dogs of various breeds and sizes, ensuring they get the physical activity they need.
- Pet Safety: Monitor dogs at all times to ensure their safety and well-being during outdoor activities.
- Hygiene Management: Clean up after pets immediately and dispose of waste in designated areas.
- Client Updates: Provide friendly and informative feedback to pet owners regarding their dog's mood and health during walks.
- Admin Support: Maintain accurate logs of walking times and routes using our mobile app.
- Medication: Administer prescribed medications to pets if required and trained.
Qualifications
- Passion for Animals: A genuine love for dogs and a patient, gentle demeanor.
- Physical Fitness: Ability to walk 1-3 miles per shift and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, trustworthy, and able to maintain a consistent schedule.
- Communication: Excellent verbal communication skills for interacting with pet owners and team members.
- Background Check: Must pass a background check and drug screening.
- Experience: Previous dog walking or pet sitting experience is preferred but not strictly required.
