Responsibilities
- Safely walk and supervise dogs in designated neighborhoods
- Provide feeding, medication administration, and playtime
- Maintain detailed pet care logs and client communications
- Ensure all pets are secure during walks using proper equipment
- Report any pet health or behavioral concerns promptly
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and service standards
- Build rapport with both pets and their owners
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional dog walking or pet care experience
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Knowledge of dog behavior and basic first aid
- Availability for weekday mornings/evenings (5am-9am, 3pm-7pm)
- Strong time management and reliability
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to handle multiple dogs simultaneously (max 4 at a time)
- Must pass background check and drug screening
