Responsibilities
- Safely walk and supervise dogs in residential neighborhoods and designated parks
- Provide feeding, medication administration, and basic care per owner instructions
- Maintain detailed digital logs of walks, pet behavior, and service delivery
- Communicate professionally with pet owners regarding care updates and scheduling
- Adhere to strict safety protocols during all interactions with animals
- Transport pets using company-provided vehicles when required
- Uphold Paws & Play's standards of excellence in pet care and customer service
Qualifications
- Minimum 18 years old with reliable transportation
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Experience handling dogs of various sizes and breeds preferred
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
- Strong physical stamina for extended walking periods
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Pet First Aid/CPR certification (training provided if needed)
- Must pass background check and drug screening
