Responsibilities
- Provide safe, attentive dog walking services for 2-6 dogs per group
- Implement leash training and behavior management techniques
- Monitor pet health and report any concerns to owners
- Maintain detailed activity logs and client communication
- Administer basic care (water, treats, waste cleanup)
- Adapt walks to individual pet needs (energy levels, age)
- Transport pets via company vehicle for off-leash park visits
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional dog handling experience
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Red Cross Pet First Aid/CPR certification
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and walk 5+ miles daily
- Strong knowledge of dog behavior and breed traits
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- Reliable transportation and smartphone with GPS
- Flexible availability including weekends/holidays
