Responsibilities
- Safely walk and supervise 2-4 dogs simultaneously in designated neighborhoods
- Provide feeding, medication administration, and basic care as requested
- Maintain detailed digital logs of each dog's behavior, exercise, and health
- Communicate professionally with pet parents via text/email updates
- Adhere to strict safety protocols during walks and transport
- Handle unexpected situations (e.g., dog fights, medical emergencies) calmly
- Transport dogs to/from appointments using company vehicles
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional dog walking or pet care experience
- Current CPR/First Aid certification for pets (or willingness to obtain)
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Physical ability to walk dogs in various weather conditions
- Strong knowledge of dog behavior and handling techniques
- Reliable transportation to client locations across LA
- Must pass background check and drug screening
- Excellent time management and communication skills
