Responsibilities
- Define the 2026 Technology Vision: Create and communicate a comprehensive technology roadmap that aligns with business objectives and anticipates future market shifts.
- Emerging Technology Assessment: Continuously monitor and evaluate emerging tech trends to determine their viability for integration into our core infrastructure.
- Strategic Partnerships: Cultivate relationships with key industry leaders, startups, and research institutions to stay ahead of the curve.
- Resource Allocation: Lead the R&D budget and resource planning to ensure we have the necessary tools and talent to achieve our 2026 goals.
- Innovation Management: Establish a framework for internal innovation that encourages experimentation and adoption of cutting-edge solutions.
- Executive Leadership: Present complex technical strategies to the C-suite and board members to secure buy-in for long-term initiatives.
Qualifications
- Strategic Planning: 10+ years of experience in technology strategy, R&D, or futurism with a proven track record of delivering results.
- Tech Foresight: Deep understanding of emerging technologies including Generative AI, Edge Computing, and Quantum Computing.
- Leadership Experience: Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage high-level stakeholder relationships.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Problem Solving: Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex data into actionable strategic insights.
- Communication: Superior verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
