Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions quickly and accurately using the Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Greet every customer with a warm and professional demeanor to ensure a positive shopping experience.
- Handle cash, credit, and debit payments with strict adherence to company policies.
- Answer customer inquiries regarding products, prices, and store policies.
- Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and safe checkout area.
- Reconcile daily sales and handle change and currency exchanges efficiently.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Previous experience as a Cashier or in a retail environment is preferred.
- Strong math skills with the ability to handle money accurately.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
