Responsibilities
- Greet customers immediately upon arrival with a warm and welcoming attitude.
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately to process transactions.
- Handle cash, credit, and check payments with strict accuracy.
- Answer customer questions regarding products, prices, and store policies.
- Keep the checkout area clean, organized, and fully stocked with supplies.
- Assist with bagging purchases and maintaining cart retrieval areas.
- Process returns and exchanges according to company policy.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High school diploma or GED is preferred.
- Basic math skills and ability to handle cash transactions.
- Strong verbal communication skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Reliable transportation is required.
