Job Summary
The ideal candidate will be the face of our business, ensuring a smooth and welcoming checkout experience for every customer. You will be responsible for processing transactions accurately and maintaining a high standard of customer service.
Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately using Point of Sale (POS) systems and handle payments securely.
- Manage cash drawers, make accurate change, and reconcile daily financial reports.
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering inquiries and assisting with equipment selections.
- Ensure the sales floor is clean, organized, and well-stocked with rental equipment.
- Assist in the checkout process, including bagging items and processing returns or exchanges.
- Follow safety protocols when handling and organizing equipment inventory.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Basic math skills and the ability to handle cash with precision and integrity.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a friendly demeanor.
- Previous retail or customer service experience is a plus but not required.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift light equipment (up to 25 lbs).
- Availability to work weekends and holidays as required.
