Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using the Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Greet customers with a friendly demeanor and answer inquiries regarding products and services.
- Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions with strict attention to accuracy and security.
- Assist with bagging items, stocking shelves, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
- Resolve customer complaints or issues in a professional and timely manner.
- Operate store equipment, including scanners and registers.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies and cash handling procedures.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience as a cashier or in retail is a plus but not required.
- Strong basic math skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift light to medium boxes (up to 25 lbs).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude.
- Must be able to pass a background check.
