Responsibilities
- Process customer purchases accurately and efficiently at the point of sale (POS).
- Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions with strict attention to accuracy and accountability.
- Greet customers warmly and assist with inquiries regarding products, pricing, and store policies.
- Manage returns, exchanges, and refunds according to company standards and procedures.
- Keep the checkout area clean, organized, and fully stocked with bags and supplies.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth store operations during peak hours.
- Uphold a high standard of customer service and store presentation at all times.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Previous experience in retail or customer service is a plus but not required for the right candidate.
- Basic math skills and the ability to handle cash transactions with 100% accuracy.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift light boxes (up to 25 lbs).
- Must be available to work weekends and holidays as required.
