Responsibilities
- Process Transactions: Accurately ring up customer purchases, handle cash, credit cards, and digital payments.
- Customer Service: Greet customers warmly, answer questions about products, and resolve any checkout issues efficiently.
- Inventory & Stocking: Keep the checkout area tidy and assist with restocking shelves as needed.
- Returns & Exchanges: Process returns and exchanges following company policies to ensure customer satisfaction.
- System Management: Operate Point of Sale (POS) systems and handle cash drops accurately.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with floor staff and management to maintain a smooth flow of operations.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required.
- Experience: Previous cashier or retail experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
- Skills: Strong basic math skills and attention to detail.
- Communication: Excellent verbal communication skills with a friendly demeanor.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Availability: Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.
