Responsibilities
- Greet every customer with a warm smile and provide exceptional service to ensure a positive shopping experience.
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems accurately, processing various payment methods including cash, credit, and digital transactions.
- Answer customer inquiries regarding products, prices, and store policies with professionalism and accuracy.
- Keep the checkout area tidy, organized, and fully stocked with necessary supplies.
- Assist with bagging purchases and ensuring customer orders are prepared efficiently.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain store standards and operational efficiency during peak hours.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail, hospitality, or customer service is preferred but not required.
- Basic math skills and the ability to handle cash transactions accurately.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights (up to 25 lbs).
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Familiarity with POS systems is a plus.
