Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve specialty coffee beverages with precision and artistry
- Provide exceptional customer service while maintaining a welcoming café atmosphere
- Operate espresso machines and POS systems efficiently during peak hours
- Assist with inventory management and maintain clean, organized workspace
- Train new team members on beverage recipes and service standards
- Develop seasonal menu items and participate in café promotions
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional barista experience required
- Expert knowledge of espresso extraction and milk steaming techniques
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure
- Strong communication skills and passion for coffee culture
- Flexible availability including early mornings, weekends, and holidays
- Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory tracking
- Food Handler's Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
