Responsibilities
- Expertly prepare and serve specialty coffee beverages using premium beans and precise techniques
- Deliver exceptional customer service with genuine warmth and product knowledge
- Operate POS systems efficiently while maintaining accurate cash handling
- Uphold rigorous cleanliness and sanitation standards in all service areas
- Collaborate with team members during peak hours to ensure seamless operations
- Engage with customers to build loyalty and promote seasonal offerings
- Assist in inventory management and restocking of coffee supplies
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of professional barista experience required
- Deep knowledge of coffee brewing methods, origins, and flavor profiles
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with a customer-first mindset
- Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments while maintaining composure
- Flexible availability including early mornings, weekends, and holidays
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order accuracy
- Food safety certification preferred
- Valid Pennsylvania Food Handler's Card (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
