Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a wide variety of hot and cold beverages, including espresso drinks, teas, and cold brews, following strict recipes and quality standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the counter, espresso machine, and dining area, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
- Greet customers warmly, take accurate orders, and provide friendly, efficient service to ensure a positive customer experience.
- Operate the cash register and point-of-sale system accurately, handling cash, credit cards, and digital payments responsibly.
- Perform opening and closing duties, such as restocking supplies, cleaning equipment, and preparing the workspace for the next shift.
- Assist in food preparation tasks as needed, ensuring all food items are stored, prepared, and served safely.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age to handle food and beverage service.
- No prior barista experience is necessary; we are looking for eager learners.
- Ability to stand for long periods and move quickly in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate clearly with customers and team members.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and cash management.
- Passion for coffee and customer service is a plus!
