Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a wide variety of hot and cold beverages, including espresso, coffee, and teas, according to standard recipes.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workspace to ensure food safety standards are met.
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately to process customer orders and payments.
- Greet customers warmly, take orders, and provide exceptional customer service with a smile.
- Restock inventory items such as milk, syrups, cups, and napkins to ensure smooth operations.
- Handle cash transactions and balance the register at the end of the shift.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during peak hours.
Qualifications
- No prior barista experience is required; we welcome beginners!
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and making change.
- Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- A valid driver's license is a plus.
