Responsibilities
- Expertly prepare and serve specialty coffee beverages (espresso, lattes, pour-overs)
- Provide exceptional customer service with personalized recommendations
- Maintain pristine cleanliness of workstations, equipment, and seating areas
- Process orders efficiently using POS systems while handling cash and digital payments
- Collaborate with team members during peak hours to ensure smooth operations
- Assist with inventory management and restocking of coffee supplies
- Uphold food safety standards and allergen protocols
Qualifications
- 6+ months of barista experience or equivalent coffee preparation knowledge
- Proven customer service excellence in fast-paced environments
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions
- Ability to work standing for extended periods (4-6 hour shifts)
- Flexible availability including weekends and early mornings
- Knowledge of coffee brewing methods and flavor profiles preferred
- Positive attitude and passion for hospitality
- Food Handler's Certification (or willingness to obtain)
