Responsibilities
- Expertly prepare specialty coffee drinks (espresso, lattes, cold brew) following signature recipes
- Deliver exceptional customer service with genuine enthusiasm and product knowledge
- Maintain pristine cleanliness of station, equipment, and customer areas
- Process transactions accurately using POS systems while handling cash/credit
- Collaborate with team to ensure smooth operations during peak hours
- Source and rotate inventory to uphold freshness standards
- Contribute to a positive, inclusive team culture through communication and support
Qualifications
- 1+ years professional barista experience with espresso machine mastery
- Deep knowledge of coffee origins, brewing techniques, and flavor profiles
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to multitask in fast-paced environments
- Availability to work weekends, early mornings, and holidays
- Food Handler's Permit (or willingness to obtain immediately)
- Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory management
- Passion for sustainability and ethical sourcing practices
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs
