Responsibilities
- Prepare specialty coffee drinks with precision and artistry
- Engage warmly with customers, remembering preferences and building rapport
- Maintain pristine cleanliness of workspace, equipment, and customer areas
- Operate POS systems efficiently and handle cash transactions accurately
- Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless service during peak hours
- Source and showcase local pastries and seasonal offerings
- Contribute to a positive, inclusive work culture
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months barista or customer service experience
- Deep knowledge of coffee brewing methods and techniques
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills for handling transactions
- Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends
- Food Handler's Certification preferred
