Responsibilities
- Expertly craft espresso beverages, pour-overs, and seasonal specialties using premium beans
- Deliver exceptional customer service with personalized recommendations and warm hospitality
- Operate POS systems, process payments, and maintain accurate cash handling
- Ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards across all service areas and equipment
- Collaborate with team to create innovative seasonal menus and promotions
- Train new baristas on brewing techniques and café operations
- Support inventory management and quality control of coffee products
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year experience in specialty coffee service or hospitality
- Expert knowledge of espresso brewing, milk texturing, and extraction theory
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to multitask in fast-paced environments
- Availability to work mornings, evenings, and weekends (15-25 hrs/week)
- Food handling certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
- Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory tracking
