Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a wide variety of hot and cold beverages, including espresso drinks, teas, and cold brew.
- Operate espresso machines and brewing equipment with precision and adherence to standard recipes.
- Greet customers warmly, take orders accurately, and provide product recommendations to enhance the customer experience.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized work area, including counters, tables, and restrooms.
- Restock supplies such as milk, syrups, pastries, and cups to ensure seamless operations.
- Handle cash and credit transactions accurately using the Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Assist with inventory management and store upkeep as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a barista or in the food service/hospitality industry is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and outgoing personality.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and efficiency.
- Reliable attendance and flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and making change.
- A genuine interest in coffee culture and a willingness to learn new brewing techniques.
