Welcome to Bean & Brew St. Petersburg, where community meets caffeine. We are currently seeking a passionate and energetic Barista to join our roasting team immediately. If you have a love for coffee and a knack for customer service, we want to meet you.
As a Barista, you are the face of our brand. You will craft the perfect cup of coffee while creating a welcoming atmosphere for our regulars and new customers alike. We offer a dynamic work environment with opportunities for growth and a vibrant team culture.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a wide variety of high-quality coffee and tea beverages.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace in the cafe and back-of-house.
- Operate espresso machines and grinders following strict brewing standards.
- Engage with customers to take orders, make recommendations, and ensure satisfaction.
- Handle cash, credit, and mobile payments accurately and efficiently.
- Assist with food preparation and plating as needed.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies.
Qualifications
- Previous barista experience is preferred but not required; we provide on-the-job training.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions.
