Responsibilities
- Greet every guest with a warm, welcoming smile and establish a friendly connection.
- Expertly prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including espresso drinks, teas, and smoothies, ensuring the highest quality standards.
- Maintain a pristine and organized workspace, including the espresso bar, seating areas, and restrooms, in line with our hygiene protocols.
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems efficiently, accurately processing payments and managing orders.
- Cross-train in different areas of the shop, including packaging, stocking, and cleaning duties.
- Engage with customers to understand their preferences and suggest products that enhance their experience.
- Adhere to all safety and food handling regulations at all times.
Qualifications
- Previous barista or customer service experience is preferred but not required; we are happy to train the right attitude.
- Strong knowledge of coffee brewing methods, espresso machines, and milk texturing.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs.
- Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- A valid Food Service Handler Card or willingness to obtain one.
- A genuine passion for coffee and a desire to learn and grow.
