Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee beverages, tea, and food items according to standard recipes and presentation guidelines.
- Operate espresso machines, grinders, and Point of Sale (POS) systems efficiently and accurately.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests, answering questions, and processing transactions with a smile.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workspace, including wiping down counters, steam wands, and tables.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in restocking supplies as needed to ensure smooth operations.
- Cash handling and accurate cash drawer reconciliation at the end of each shift.
- Collaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure a seamless and positive customer experience.
Qualifications
- Previous barista experience is preferred but not required; we provide on-the-job training for enthusiastic learners.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs comfortably.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes precisely.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly, outgoing personality.
- Availability to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory management.
- Passion for coffee and a desire to learn about different brewing methods.
