Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a wide variety of hot and cold beverages, including espresso drinks, pour-overs, and teas, following strict quality standards.
- Engage with customers to create a welcoming atmosphere, taking orders accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized workspace, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
- Operate Point of Sale (POS) systems with precision, handling cash and card transactions.
- Restock ingredients, cups, and supplies to ensure seamless operations during peak hours.
- Collaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure a cohesive and high-quality service experience.
Qualifications
- 1+ years of professional barista experience preferred; however, enthusiastic beginners with a strong work ethic are welcome.
- Strong knowledge of espresso extraction, milk texturing, and basic latte art techniques.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Excellent communication skills and a positive, customer-centric attitude.
- Reliable attendance and a proven track record of punctuality.
- Flexibility to work early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and holidays.
