Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a wide variety of hot and cold beverages, including espresso drinks, teas, and cold brews, according to company recipes and standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting café environment, including regular cleaning of the espresso machine, counter, and seating areas.
- Operate Point of Sale (POS) systems efficiently to process customer orders, handle payments, and provide receipts.
- Greet customers with a warm smile and provide exceptional customer service, answering questions about our menu and ingredients.
- Cash handling and end-of-day shift closing procedures, including accurate cash counts and deposits.
- Assist in inventory management, including restocking supplies and rotating stock to ensure freshness.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Barista or in the food service/hospitality industry is preferred but not required; we are willing to train the right candidate.
- Strong knowledge of coffee brewing techniques, latte art, and drink recipes is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact positively with customers and team members.
- Reliability and the ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
