Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including espresso drinks, teas, and cold brews, according to company recipes and standards.
- Greet customers warmly, take accurate orders, and provide friendly, knowledgeable recommendations.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the espresso machine, counters, and dining area.
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems efficiently to process transactions and handle cash.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with restocking supplies as needed.
- Upsell products and promote loyalty programs to enhance the customer experience.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Barista or in the food and beverage industry is preferred but not required.
- Strong knowledge of coffee brewing methods and drink recipes.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- The ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- A positive attitude and a willingness to learn new techniques.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
