Responsibilities
- Beverage Preparation: Expertly prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold coffee beverages, teas, and pastries according to our high standards.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional, friendly, and efficient service to every guest, ensuring their orders are accurate and their visit is enjoyable.
- Machine Maintenance: Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of espresso machines, grinders, and brewing equipment to ensure optimal performance and food safety.
- Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and supplies; restock shelves and assist with ordering as needed.
- Store Presentation: Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing cafe environment, including wiping down counters and floors.
- Team Collaboration: Work cohesively with baristas and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
Qualifications
- Experience: Prior experience as a barista or in a fast-paced food service role is preferred.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with espresso machines, latte art, and coffee brewing techniques is a plus.
- Reliability: Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends, early mornings, and holidays.
- Physical Demands: Ability to stand for extended periods (4+ hours) and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and a positive, customer-focused attitude.
