Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of high-quality coffee beverages, including espresso, lattes, and cold brews, according to strict recipes.
- Maintain a pristine environment by cleaning workstations, grinding beans, and sanitizing equipment throughout the shift.
- Greet every customer with a warm, friendly demeanor and provide exceptional service to ensure a memorable experience.
- Operate Point of Sale (POS) systems efficiently to process transactions accurately and handle cash or card payments.
- Monitor inventory levels of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and supplies to ensure nothing runs out during peak hours.
- Collaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure seamless service during busy rushes.
- Upsell menu items and offer recommendations to enhance the customer experience.
Qualifications
- Previous barista experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate on our premium equipment.
- A strong passion for coffee and a genuine interest in learning brewing techniques.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly, outgoing personality.
- Reliability and punctuality with a valid ID for employment verification.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling.
- Physical ability to lift up to 25 lbs and reach overhead to stock shelves.
