Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including espresso drinks, teas, and smoothies, with precision and speed.
- Maintain a pristine and organized workspace, including coffee stations, tables, and restrooms, adhering to all health and safety standards.
- Operate the espresso machine and Point of Sale (POS) system accurately, handling cash transactions and processing digital payments.
- Greet customers warmly, take orders efficiently, and provide recommendations based on their preferences.
- Clean and sanitize equipment regularly to ensure high-quality standards.
- Collaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure a seamless customer experience.
Qualifications
- Previous barista experience is preferred but not required; we provide on-the-job training.
- A genuine passion for coffee and excellent knowledge of brewing techniques.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly, customer-focused attitude.
- Basic math skills for handling cash and inventory management.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
