Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including espresso drinks, teas, and smoothies, following standard recipes.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the coffee bar, dining area, and restrooms, adhering to strict sanitation standards.
- Operate and troubleshoot espresso machines, grinders, and other brewing equipment to ensure high-quality output.
- Greet customers warmly, take orders accurately, and provide exceptional customer service to ensure a positive dining experience.
- Process payments efficiently using POS systems and keep the register balanced.
- Assist in food preparation and plating to ensure presentation meets our quality standards.
- Stock supplies and ingredients to ensure the bar is fully operational throughout the shift.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a barista or in the food service industry is preferred but not required (we provide training).
- Strong knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and flavor profiles is a plus.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs safely.
- Excellent communication skills and a positive, outgoing attitude.
- Availability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Food Handler’s Card or willingness to obtain one.
