Responsibilities
- Brew and serve high-quality espresso-based beverages and food items according to standard recipes and procedures.
- Greet customers warmly and provide outstanding customer service, answering questions and making recommendations.
- Operate and clean espresso machines, coffee brewers, and other kitchen equipment to ensure safety and hygiene standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the counter, dining area, and storage areas.
- Handle cash, credit, and gift card transactions accurately using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during peak hours.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in restocking supplies as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a barista or in the food service industry is preferred.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes precisely.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Passion for coffee and a positive, friendly attitude.
- Basic math skills for cash handling.
