Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a wide variety of hot and cold beverages, including espresso drinks, pour-overs, and blended drinks.
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system efficiently to process orders, handle payments, and manage inventory.
- Engage with customers warmly, take orders accurately, and provide product recommendations.
- Maintain a pristine and organized workspace, including the espresso bar, dining area, and restrooms.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines strictly.
- Restock ingredients, milk, and supplies to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
- Clean equipment and sanitize work surfaces throughout the shift.
Qualifications
- Previous barista experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate with a passion for coffee.
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to build rapport quickly.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
- Reliable attendance and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory management.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
