Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including espresso drinks, teas, and seasonal specials.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all health and sanitation standards.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately to process transactions and handle payments.
- Engage with customers warmly, answering questions about our menu and making personalized recommendations.
- Clean and sanitize brewing equipment, espresso machines, and customer-facing areas throughout the shift.
- Assist with inventory management, restocking supplies, and rotating food products.
- Collaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure smooth service during peak hours.
Qualifications
- Previous barista or customer service experience is preferred but not required.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a friendly demeanor.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and efficiency.
- Reliable and punctual with a commitment to attendance.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Basic math skills for handling cash and processing transactions.
