Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a wide variety of hot and cold beverages, including espresso drinks, teas, and specialty coffees.
- Operate espresso machines and coffee brewing equipment to ensure consistent quality and taste.
- Greet customers warmly and take accurate orders while making recommendations based on preferences.
- Maintain a pristine and organized workspace, including the coffee bar, dining area, and restrooms.
- Handle cash and credit transactions accurately using the Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Stock inventory and ensure supplies (milk, syrups, pastries) are fully replenished.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and sanitation standards at all times.
Qualifications
- Previous barista or food service experience is preferred but we are willing to train the right candidates.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable, and energetic demeanor.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs regularly.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order accuracy.
- A valid Food Handler's Permit or willingness to obtain one is required.
