Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve specialty coffee drinks using provided commercial-grade equipment
- Train on and maintain espresso machines, grinders, and brewing systems
- Deliver exceptional customer service while educating guests on coffee origins
- Manage inventory and reorder supplies for optimal coffee freshness
- Collaborate with team to develop seasonal beverage menus
- Ensure cleanliness of all equipment and service areas
- Process transactions using POS systems with cash handling responsibilities
Qualifications
- 1+ years of professional barista experience with espresso machines
- Passion for coffee craftsmanship and sensory development
- Ability to operate complex brewing equipment (training provided)
- Outstanding communication and multitasking skills
- Flexibility to work weekends, early mornings, and holidays
- Food Handler's Permit (or willingness to obtain)
- Commitment to sustainability and waste reduction practices
