Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve high-quality espresso beverages (latte, cappuccino, americano) and cold drinks according to established recipes.
- Operate and maintain commercial espresso machines, grinders, and brewing equipment.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming workspace, including the counter, dining area, and restrooms.
- Greet customers warmly, take orders accurately, and process payments efficiently using POS systems.
- Monitor inventory levels of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and pastries; restock supplies as needed.
- Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and sanitation standards.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a barista or in the food service industry is preferred.
- Demonstrated passion for coffee and knowledge of brewing techniques.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs comfortably.
- Strong communication skills with a friendly and customer-focused demeanor.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling.
- Reliable attendance and a positive attitude.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
