Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve specialty coffee beverages using commercial espresso machines and grinders
- Operate POS systems and process customer orders efficiently
- Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of all equipment and workspaces
- Train on and maintain provided coffee equipment (grinders, brewers, steam wands)
- Develop and execute seasonal drink specials
- Provide exceptional customer service and product knowledge
- Collaborate with team to optimize workflow during peak hours
- Participate in inventory management of coffee supplies
Qualifications
- 1+ years of professional barista experience
- Proficiency with espresso machines and manual brewing methods
- Strong knowledge of coffee origins and brewing techniques
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays
- Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory
- Food handling certification (or willingness to obtain)
