Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a wide variety of hot and cold beverages, including espresso drinks, teas, and specialty coffees, according to standard recipes.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders accurately, and ensuring a positive and memorable experience.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting store environment, including regular cleaning of the coffee bar, restrooms, and dining area.
- Operate Point of Sale (POS) systems efficiently and accurately, handling cash and card transactions with precision.
- Learn and demonstrate knowledge of our coffee beans, brewing methods, and food menu items to educate customers.
- Assist with inventory management, restocking supplies, and managing waste according to company standards.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations during peak hours.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Barista or in a similar customer service role is preferred but not required (we provide training!).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Ability to stand for long periods and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and making change.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Passion for coffee and a willingness to learn new brewing techniques.
- Reliable transportation.
