Responsibilities
- Expertly prepare specialty coffee drinks using premium beans and precise techniques
- Deliver exceptional customer service with warm, personalized interactions
- Maintain pristine cleanliness of espresso machines, brewing equipment, and service areas
- Process transactions accurately and efficiently through our POS system
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations
- Recommend menu items and educate customers on coffee origins and brewing methods
- Assist with inventory management and restocking of supplies
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months of professional barista experience required
- Deep knowledge of coffee brewing methods and espresso extraction
- Outstanding interpersonal skills with a passion for customer engagement
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and inventory
- Flexible availability including weekends and early mornings
- Food Handler's Certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety protocols
