Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve high-quality espresso beverages, coffee, and tea, adhering to strict recipes and presentation standards.
- Operate commercial coffee equipment, including espresso machines, grinders, and blenders.
- Engage with customers to take orders, provide recommendations, and ensure a positive "coffee shop experience."
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized work area, including counters, seating areas, and restrooms.
- Restock ingredients, milk, and supplies to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Handle cash transactions and process payments accurately using POS systems.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a coffee shop, cafe, or quick-service restaurant is preferred but not required.
- Strong knowledge of coffee brewing methods, latte art, and drink preparation is a plus.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Strong math skills for accurate cash handling and inventory management.
- Reliable transportation and availability to work weekends and holidays.
