Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve specialty coffee beverages using premium beans and precise techniques
- Deliver exceptional customer service with personalized recommendations and warm interactions
- Maintain pristine cleanliness of espresso machines, brewing equipment, and service areas
- Manage cash transactions accurately and efficiently using POS systems
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations during peak hours
- Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of coffee origins, brewing methods, and menu offerings
- Contribute to inventory management and restocking of coffee supplies and café merchandise
- Participate in seasonal promotions and special events to enhance customer engagement
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of professional barista experience with espresso machine proficiency
- Strong knowledge of coffee brewing techniques, bean varieties, and flavor profiles
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with a passion for creating memorable customer experiences
- Ability to thrive in high-volume environments while maintaining attention to detail
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and inventory management
- Flexible availability including weekends, early mornings, and holidays
- Food Handler's Certification preferred (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
